Having read the two other DS Grace novels as soon as they hit the shelves both my wife and I are urging you on to get this one finished asap. In the meantime we are both starting to read your other novels all over again, although we have not been able to find copies of the first three. You mentioned a while ago when we met you that you had been to California and were researching a book on genetic engineering, can you say why it was not published.

Hi Richard
I apologize for the delay in replying, but I have been closeted away finishing my next Roy Grace novel, "Not Dead Enough" and have been offline.
The book I was researching in California is called "Perfect People" I put it aside temporarily to write the first Roy Grace novel, Dead Simple, and then because it did so well, I've spent all my time since then writing the next two in the series. However I do plan to return to it and finish it hopefully next year. Watch this space..!!!
Thank you so much for your interest and enthusiasm - I value it enormously and am very grateful to you.
Peter

Hello
I have read both Roy Grace books - excellent police procedurals - definitely on par if not better than Peter Robinson's Inspector Banks.
Looking forward to your next Grace installment. Hope Norman is there - love his humour!

Hi Ian
Thank you so much for these very kind words - I hugely appreciate your taking the time and trouble to write.
I am just working on editorial notes on "Not Dead Enough" the third Roy Grace novel, which will be published next June. And Norman Potting will indeed be there - with some developments in his own private life!!!
All very best
Peter
