Northern Tour

In response to enthusiastic requests from so many of you, I'm delighted to let you know that my publisher are arranging a short Northern tour for me on Dec 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

It is still in the process of being finalized, but so far, I will be doing signings in Newcastle, York, Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester and Cheshire.

All confirmed details are now up in the Appearances section of my website -- and I very much hope to meet many of you at these events.

I have also had a a lot of requests from those of you in Scotland and I am longing to come back and travel around your country - hopefully a tour will be arranged for next year - and besides, it would give Roy Grace (not to mention his creator!!!) a good opportunity to broaden his range of knowledge on whiskies...

    Hi Peter,
I really do hope that you manage to do some appearances in the far North of Scotland!
If you do, I will be the first in the queue!
And, yes, the psychiatric/geriatric hospital was St Francis (which I gather is no more!)

I'm really longing to come up to the north of Scotland. Quite apart from the need to educate Roy Grace on his whiskies, I know you have some of the finest and emptiest roads for driving on in the UK - and stunning scenery. Plus lovely readers. What possible reason could I have for not wanting to come up at the first possible opportunity???!!!

    Hi Peter

Thanks for the info, will keep my eyes peeled! Anywhere North Staffs or Cheshire would be fab!

I just read Dead Mans Footsteps, another Roy Grace epic! really loved it, great storyline.
I have to say there is one bit that had me howling laughing (at 2am one morning - husband wasn't chuffed LOL) but cant really say as I dont want to spoil it for anyone else apart from seatbelt and ankle maybe :)absolute classic Roy Grace Moment!

I have to ask what happened to Elvis in this one? was she just being secretive?

Heres to the next installment in Dead Tomorrow :)all the very best wishes for a very happy, peaceful and safe Christmas & New Year.

    Sharon, Crewe.
